The Kosovo Police has issued an important appeal to citizens, urging them to be cautious of suspicious messages and emails that may contain deceptive links.
In a social media post, the Kosovo Police stated: “Alert about phishing! Dear citizens, please be cautious of suspicious messages and emails that may contain deceptive links.”
The appeal emphasized that citizens should not open suspicious links or share their personal information with unknown sources, as this could lead to being targeted by potential cyber attacks.
“Do not open or share personal information with unknown sources, as you could become a victim of cyber attacks,” said the Police, adding that if in doubt, citizens can contact the Kosovo Police for support and verification by using the emergency number 192.
“Stay safe online!” the Police concluded in the post.
