Prime Minister Edi Rama has today shared footage from the “Defender 25” military drill, describing it as one of the largest and most complex exercises conducted in Europe and Africa in the past decade, reports Rks News.
The exercise is being held under the leadership of the U.S. European Command (EUCOM) and involves close cooperation between NATO allied and partner countries.
Rama emphasized the strategic importance of this international drill, which includes various military exercises and maneuvers aimed at enhancing regional and global security. In his post, the Prime Minister also extended well wishes for the weekend to citizens.
“GOOD MORNING and with the Armed Forces continuing the ‘Defender 25’ drill—an international exercise, one of the largest and most complex of the last decade in Europe and Africa, conducted under the leadership of the U.S. European Command and in close cooperation with NATO allies and partners—I wish you all a great weekend,” Rama wrote.
