Blerta Deliu-Kodra, a Member of Parliament from the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), has spoken about the possibility of forming a new government. She stated that PDK is ready to form the government if the Vetëvendosje Movement (VV) fails to do so, as reported by Rks News.
She further mentioned that they have received an invitation from the Speaker of the Parliament, Glauk Konjufca, for a meeting next week.
However, Deliu-Kodra expressed that PDK’s preference is for the government to be formed by the opposition.
“So far, we have observed the developments regarding the attempts to form the government. These are the efforts of Mr. Kurti to form the government, where he has organized meetings with minority parties. Meanwhile, opposition parties have had meetings trying to harmonize their positions for a coalition government,” she said.
“The right belongs to VV. If their efforts fail, it will be PDK’s turn. We have received an invitation from Konjufca to meet with our president. Our preference is for the opposition to form the government,” she added.
