Eight Killed and at Least 39 Injured in Russian Strikes on Ukraine

At least eight people have been killed and 39 others injured in the latest wave of Russian strikes across several regions of Ukraine.

According to Ukrainian authorities, a 59-year-old man was killed in the Sumy region after the vehicle he was traveling in was struck. In the Velyka Pysarivka community, a 51-year-old man was also killed in a drone attack.

Another person was reported killed in the Donetsk region, while another lost their life in the Kherson region.

In the Zaporizhzhia region, two people in their 60s were killed after a residential building was hit in the attacks. Meanwhile, authorities have revised the death toll in the city of Kryvyi Rih, in the Dnipropetrovsk region, to two.

At least 39 people were injured in the overnight attacks. Six of them were injured in the Kyiv region, while two others were injured in the Odesa region, where an attack struck a post office.

The Russian strikes affected several parts of Ukraine overnight, while authorities continue to report casualties and material damage.
