The FBI announced a few moments ago through a statement to the media that it has identified the person who injured former President Trump at the election rally in Pennsylvania, reports Sinjali.
According to the FBI, the person who attacked Trump with a gun and was then killed by the Secret Service is a 20-year-old named Thomas Matthew Crooks.
US intelligence says Crooks was from Bethel Park, Pennsylvania.
This is a town about 70 km or an hour’s drive from Butler, the site of the attempted murder.
“This remains an active and ongoing investigation and anyone with information that may assist the investigation is encouraged to submit photos or video online,” the FBI said in a statement.
