The Central Election Commission (CEC) confirmed that, as of 21:30 on Sunday, 7 December 2025, a total of 15 political parties had submitted their online candidate lists for certification to participate in Kosovo’s upcoming early parliamentary elections.
The submission deadline expires at 23:59 on Sunday night, marking the final opportunity for political entities to register their candidates.
According to CEC spokesperson Valmir Elezi, the 15 certified subjects have put forward a combined 541 candidates for the Assembly of Kosovo. The parties and their respective number of candidates are as follows:
- Za Slobodu Pravdu i Opstanak – 12 candidates
- Socijaldemokratska Unija (SDU) – 35 candidates
- Jedinstvena Goranska Partija – 23 candidates
- Partia Rome e Bashkuar e Kosovës – 40 candidates
- Kosovaki Nevi Romani Partia – 11 candidates
- Fjala – 20 candidates
- Nedžmidin Sejdilar – 1 candidate
- Iniciativa e Re Demokratike e Kosovës – 53 candidates
- Lidhja Demokratike e Kosovës (LDK) – 110 candidates
- PAI – PDAK – LPB coalition – 90 candidates
- Kosova Demokratik Türk Partisi (KDTP) – 16 candidates
- Nova Demokratska Stranka – 40 candidates
- Lëvizja Përparimtare e Romëve të Kosovës – 14 candidates
- Srpska Lista – 33 candidates
- Koalicija Vakat – 43 candidates
CEC officials noted that the process has so far unfolded according to procedure, with no reported irregularities.
Meanwhile, political figure Fatmir Limaj stated that he did not manage to form a coalition or join any political party ahead of the deadline, confirming that he will not appear on any submitted list.
