Ahead of the seventh constitutive session of the Assembly of Kosovo scheduled for tomorrow at 10:00 AM, Time Kadrijaj, a deputy from the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), has confirmed that the party’s position regarding the election of Albulena Haxhiu as Speaker of Parliament remains unchanged.
Kadrijaj emphasized that it is up to Lëvizja Vetëvendosje (LVV) to ensure that they have the necessary votes to support Haxhiu’s candidacy.
“We haven’t changed our position on the vote for the Speaker. It’s up to LVV to work on securing the votes,” Kadrijaj stated in an interview with GazetaBlic.
This statement reflects the ongoing political tension and negotiations in Kosovo’s parliament, as Albulena Haxhiu’s election continues to face obstacles. LVV is under pressure to gather the required support to successfully appoint the new parliament speaker.
