One of the main topics discussed between Prime Minister Edi Rama and the EU’s High Representative for Foreign Affairs, Kaja Kallas, during her visit to Tirana was the developments in the region.
During a joint press conference, Kallas emphasized that relations between Kosovo and Serbia must be normalized for any progress to be made.
“We also discussed developments in the region. I value the advice and comments you have given me about the situations in the Western Balkans. Regarding Kosovo and Serbia, there can be no progress without the normalization of relations between the two countries. After this, I will travel to Bosnia and Herzegovina. I am grateful to be here and I am looking forward to attending the upcoming meeting of the European Political Community,” she stated.
She also commented on Albania, expressing that Albania’s future lies within the European Union.
