Kosovo’s electricity distribution company KEDS has warned citizens that strong winds, heavy rainfall and hailstorms may cause temporary power outages in several areas across the country.
The company said that the difficult weather conditions could directly affect the stability of the electricity distribution system, potentially leading to disruptions in supply.
KEDS announced that its field teams have been deployed in increased numbers and are continuously monitoring the situation, remaining ready to respond immediately in case of technical failures or damage to the network.
The company urged citizens to remain cautious as unstable weather has affected several municipalities in Kosovo, with reports of material damage in some areas due to strong winds and storms.
Authorities have also called on residents to follow safety recommendations and avoid unnecessary movement during severe weather conditions.
