Major General Enrico Barduani, the commander of the KFOR mission, met today in Tirana with Albania’s Minister of Defense, Pirro Vengu, and the Chief of Defense of Albania, Lieutenant General Arben Kingji.
During the meeting, discussions centered around the security trends in Kosovo and the wider region, emphasizing the importance of cooperation among countries within international organizations and the role of NATO.
Major General Barduani highlighted KFOR’s daily efforts to fulfill its mandate under the UN and to support the EU-facilitated dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia. The meeting reinforced the commitment of all parties to maintaining regional stability and promoting peaceful dialogue.
