Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani has canceled her planned state visit to Brunei following recent terrorist attacks on the country’s critical infrastructure. Osmani was scheduled to depart for Brunei this morning.
In a phone call today, President Osmani informed His Majesty Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah about the current security developments in Kosovo. Both parties agreed to reschedule the visit for a later, more appropriate time.
The decision comes after careful consideration of the ongoing security situation and the need for coordination with national institutions to ensure the safety of all Kosovo citizens.
