Kurti Holds Farewell Meeting with Turkish Ambassador: Turkey Remains a Key Partner in Defense and Trade Cooperation

Kosovo’s acting Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, held a farewell meeting today with Turkey’s Ambassador to Kosovo, Sabri Tunç Angili, thanking him for his contribution to strengthening relations between the two countries.

“Today I hosted a farewell meeting with Turkey’s Ambassador to Kosovo, Sabri Tunç Angili, to whom I expressed my gratitude for Turkey’s continued support for the Republic of Kosovo and for his efforts to strengthen cooperation between our two friendly countries,” Kurti wrote in a Facebook post.

Kurti said that Turkey has been a partner and ally of Kosovo since the country’s liberation and declaration of independence, adding that bilateral relations have continued to grow.

“Turkey has been a partner and ally of our Republic since liberation, independence, and through continuously expanding relations, it has become one of the countries with which Kosovo cooperates extensively in the military and defense sectors, as well as in economy and trade,” Kurti wrote.

He also wished Ambassador Angili success and continued achievements in his future engagements.
