Kosovo’s acting Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, today met with the Charge d’Affaires of the Japanese Embassy in Kosovo, Keisuke Yamanaka, for a farewell meeting.
Kurti thanked him for his contribution to strengthening the relations between the two countries and enhancing bilateral cooperation.
He also expressed gratitude for Japan’s continuous support to Kosovo, particularly through projects implemented via the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
The two discussed the upcoming World Expo 2025 in Osaka, Japan, where Kosovo will participate, representing an excellent opportunity to promote the country’s culture, its growing economy, as well as its commitment to welcoming Japanese investors and increasing cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
The acting Prime Minister wished Keisuke Yamanaka success in his future endeavors.
During the meeting, Kurti and Yamanaka exchanged gifts of appreciation, symbolizing their excellent cooperation and the strong relations between the two nations.
Kurti presented the ambassador with a filigree çifteli, a book by author Shyqyri Nimani, and a CD from the Kosovo Philharmonic Orchestra.
In return, the ambassador gifted Kurti a Maneki-Neko, a lucky cat souvenir.
