Acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti welcomed anthropologist Janet Reineck and participants of the “Kosova Ethno-Tour 2026” on Thursday, expressing appreciation for their efforts in promoting Kosovo internationally.
According to a statement from the Office of the Prime Minister, Kurti thanked Reineck and the women participating in the tour, who come from several countries across Europe and the United States, for visiting Kosovo and helping showcase the country’s culture, society, and development.
The delegation included professionals from a wide range of fields, including environmental engineering, urban planning, healthcare, education, finance, economics, information technology, and other sectors.
During the meeting, participants engaged in an open and interactive discussion covering a broad range of topics, including human rights, education, culture, public services, technology, agriculture, and economic development.
Part of the discussion also focused on Kosovo’s diaspora, which Kurti described as one of the country’s most important ambassadors abroad, highlighting its role in promoting Kosovo internationally and strengthening ties with communities around the world.
The meeting formed part of the ongoing “Kosova Ethno-Tour 2026,” an initiative aimed at introducing international participants to Kosovo’s cultural heritage, social development, and contemporary achievements while fostering greater international understanding of the country.
