Starting May 1st, there will be no border controls at the Kosovo-Albania border, specifically at the Morinë crossing point.
This change comes as part of efforts to ease the flow of travelers, particularly those from Albania visiting Kosovo for the weekend. According to the latest data from the Morisë Customs, by Saturday noon, 4,291 Albanian nationals and 2,036 vehicles entered Albania, while 3,834 nationals and 1,967 vehicles were recorded entering Kosovo from Albania.
To accommodate this influx, the authorities are working diligently to ensure that the border checkpoints operate smoothly, utilizing all available lanes to prevent long waits during customs procedures.
