Candidates in Pristina, Prizren, Gjakova, Gjilan, Dragash, Kaçanik, Klinë, Fushë Kosovë, South Mitrovica, Obiliq, Rahovec, Peja, Suharekë, Viti, Vushtrri, Junik, Mamushë, and Kllokot will face each other in the second round of local elections on November 9.
At the national level, the Vetëvendosje Movement (LVV) leads with the largest number of municipalities going to a runoff, followed by LDK, PDK, AAK, and the Serb List.

- Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK): competing in 9 municipalities
- Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK): competing in 6 municipalities
- Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK): competing in 5 municipalities
- Serb List: competing in 1 municipality (Kllokot)
Without a runoff, LVV has already secured victories in Kamenica, Podujeva, and Shtime, while PDK won in Skenderaj, Ferizaj, and Hani i Elezit. LDK won outright in Istog and Lipjan, and the AAK triumphed in Deçan.
The race concluded on October 12 for Ramiz Lladrovci in Drenas, as well as for Nisma in Malishevë. The Serb List won nine Serb-majority municipalities without the need for a runoff.
