Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani and her Albanian counterpart Bajram Begaj are currently in the Vatican to attend the homage ceremony for Pope Francis, who passed away on Monday at the age of 88. The funeral ceremony is expected to take place tomorrow.
Osmani and Begaj shared images on their social media accounts, where they can be seen holding hands with the only Albanian cardinal, Ernest Simoni. Alongside them are Bujar Spahiu, President of the Muslim Community of Albania, Haxhi Dede Edmond Brahimaj, the World Leader of the Bektashi Order, Joan Pelushi, the Head of the Autocephalous Albanian Orthodox Church, and in the background, Arjan Dodaj, the leader of the Catholic Church in Albania.
