Over 6,000 births in the first three months of the year in Kosovo, males in the majority

A total of 6,465 children were born in Kosovo during the first three months of the year, from January to March.

According to data from the Kosovo Agency of Statistics, 2,308 births were recorded in January alone, of which 1,196 were boys and 1,112 were girls.

In February, 2,002 births were registered, including 1,030 boys and 972 girls.

In March, 2,155 children were born, with 1,113 boys and 1,042 girls.

Overall, the data shows that boys slightly outnumbered girls across all three months.
