The Presidency of the Assembly of Kosovo will hold a meeting today starting at 11:00 a.m. in Hall C-301.
According to the official agenda, the meeting will include:
- Approval of the minutes from the previous Presidency meeting;
- Review of various proposals and requests.
The meeting comes during a politically sensitive period, as Kosovo’s Assembly was dissolved following the April 28 decision to call early elections after political parties failed to reach an agreement on the election of the country’s president.
The collapse of negotiations led to the termination of the legislature’s mandate and opened the path toward a new electoral process.
Despite the dissolution of parliament, the Presidency of the Assembly can still convene meetings dealing with administrative and procedural matters until the constitution of the new legislature.
The ongoing political deadlock has continued to shape Kosovo’s institutional landscape, with parties expected to intensify preparations for the upcoming elections and the formation of new state institutions afterward.
