The Democratic League of Kosovo has reacted to the statement issued by the so-called “All-Serbian Assembly”, which stated that “Kosovo is an inalienable part of Serbia”.
In their reaction, it is said that “Yesterday’s alarm in Belgrade, for those of us who know their continuous fascist explosions, is the plotting of a bomb that can explode at any moment”.
It is further said that yesterday Serbia announced for the seventh time its political and cultural project for Greater Serbia and its historical goals for the undoing of Kosovo and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
“The Democratic Union of Kosovo, as the creator of the political project for Independent Kosovo, as a country of all who live in it, democratic and free; as the bearer of the historical political and national goals of the people of Kosovo, sees with concern this all-Serbian gathering and its hostile conclusions towards Kosovo and the region”.
LDK stated that Kosovo has already been determined, irreversibly, for the European path, where civil, cultural and ethnic rights constitute the core of development and coexistence.
“Kosovo feels its own cultural diversity and the heritage that comes from that diversity and will protect and prove it as an added value. Also, LDK proves once again how in the beginning and now they stand in the face of any attempt to attack the Republic of Kosovo and its integrity”, it is further stated in the reaction.
The second opposition party in the country adds that the Republic of Kosovo is the product of a society’s struggle to lead itself, but also to take responsibility for minorities.
“LDK remains a guarantor of these values and their prosperity. We invite the friends of Kosovo, who have given a lot for its freedom, to take seriously these efforts of the official Belgrade to undermine the neighborhood between the states in the region and defunctionalize the political achievements in favor of democracy in these last 30 years. “Yesterday’s alarm in Belgrade, for those of us who know their continuous fascist explosions, is the plotting of a bomb that can explode at any moment”, it says at the end of the reaction of the Democratic League of Kosovo.
