Messages containing direct criticism of Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić and the political structures supporting the Serbian List in Kosovo were distributed today in Gračanica.
A video published on the nationalist platform Koridor shows a parachute dispersing leaflets containing accusations against Vučić for what the authors describe as unfulfilled promises made to the Serbian people during his years in power.
The leaflets also feature satirical caricatures portraying Vučić as “Pinocchio,” implying that he has misled citizens. Other illustrations depict him dismissing Serbs from their jobs for not politically supporting the Serbian List.
According to the content shown in the video, the initiative appears to have been organized by Serbs who oppose the policies of the Serbian government and what they view as political pressure exerted over the Serbian community in Kosovo.
The video comes at a time when authorities in Belgrade have repeatedly called on Kosovo Serbs to vote for the Serbian List, a political party that enjoys the support of President Vučić and the Government of Serbia.
