Trump also reflected on how, during his first presidential term, Putin did not invade Ukraine, contrasting this with the actions of other U.S. presidents. He noted that Russia’s military actions in Georgia and Crimea occurred under Presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama, while the invasion of Ukraine took place during Joe Biden’s administration.
