During a statement in the UK Parliament earlier today, Keir Starmer said that Donald Trump was “wrong” to threaten an entire civilization last week if Iran did not reopen the Strait of Hormuz.

This marks a stronger stance compared to Starmer’s initial response in an interview last Thursday, where he had said those were “not words I would use.”

Speaking in the House of Commons, Starmer added that Iranian civilians have already suffered “immeasurable harm” at the hands of the regime over “many long years,” as reported by BBC.
