Marathon talks between American and Russian diplomats about a possible ceasefire in Ukraine have ended without reaching an agreement.
The meeting, held at the Ritz-Carlton hotel in Riyadh, concluded without a joint statement due to Ukraine’s stance.
Diplomats from both sides attended the meeting, but Moscow has downplayed the significance of the talks, calling them “technical” and emphasizing that there are no plans for a conversation between Presidents Putin and Trump at this time.
