Aleksandar Vučić, the President of Serbia, has confirmed that within a few days, the United States will impose full sanctions on the Serbian Oil Industry (NIS) due to its Russian ownership, according to Gazeta Express.

In addition, Vučić stated that once a company is placed under U.S. sanctions, no one will be willing to do business with it.

“This is a geopolitical decision, a major one. We’ve never heard that the Americans are preparing this decision, this kind of decision was prepared by the Europeans,” Vučić said, as reported by RTS.

The Serbian president also mentioned that the British will join in imposing these sanctions.

He further emphasized the importance of building an oil pipeline to Hungary, while noting that discussions will need to take place with both the Americans and the Russians.

It remains to be seen whether this information from Vučić is accurate or if it is a propagandist maneuver intended for the Serbian public.
