United States President Donald Trump has stated that his administration has decided to temporarily suspend strikes against Iran in order to give negotiators another opportunity to reach a diplomatic solution.
In an interview with Axios, Trump emphasized that the U.S. remains open to dialogue but warned that the military option remains on the table.
“We are stopping the attacks on Iran to give diplomacy a chance. However, if negotiations fail, we are prepared for strong military action,” the U.S. president said.
