Since Ukraine proposed a 30-day ceasefire, Russia has attacked Ukraine with 8,500 bombs, 200 missiles, and 3,000 drones, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky declared.
In his nightly address, Zelensky stated that most of these attacks were aimed at “ordinary cities and civilian targets.”
“The Russians talk a lot about their so-called readiness to accept American proposals, but so far, no genuine preparations have been recorded by the Russian military to truly silence the weapons. It is absolutely clear that Russia is trying to deceive the world, deceive America, and prolong this war even further,” Zelensky emphasized.
His remarks come amid increasing international concern over Russia’s military actions and their impact on prospects for peace.
