President Vjosa Osmani of the Republic of Kosovo has canceled her participation in this year’s Munich Security Conference due to institutional obligations and domestic priorities.
The announcement was confirmed by Bekim Kupina, the President’s media advisor, who emphasized that President Osmani remains grateful to the organizers for the invitation.
“However, due to institutional commitments and domestic priorities, she has decided not to participate this year,” Kupina stated.
President Osmani will continue to focus on internal matters and key developments within Kosovo, ensuring that domestic governance remains a top priority.
The 62nd Munich Security Conference is scheduled to take place from February 13 to 15, 2026, hosting hundreds of global leaders, including representatives from the Balkan region.
