The British police have issued an appeal for witnesses regarding human trafficking and sexual assault allegations against a minor in the 1990s, linked to American convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
The Surrey Police in southeastern England stated in a press release that they were “made aware” of an edited FBI report detailing accusations of human trafficking and sexual assaults on a minor between 1994 and 1996 in the village of Virginia Water.
Authorities urged anyone with information to come forward, noting that they had found no evidence of these claims in their records due to limited information. No names were explicitly mentioned in the police statement. Media reports highlighted mentions of Prince Andrew, the brother of King Charles, and Epstein’s associate Ghislaine Maxwell in the documents.
According to reports, the allegations came from an anonymous witness who claimed that a woman was tied to a table and tortured with electric shocks while Prince Andrew and other men allegedly observed.
The FBI report was published in December, coinciding with the release of the first batch of documents related to Epstein by the U.S. Department of Justice — a case that has shaken global attention.
Prince Andrew, who faced allegations by American Virginia Giuffre of sexual assault when she was 17, was stripped of his royal titles in October due to his connection with Epstein. He denies all accusations. Giuffre tragically committed suicide in April 2025.
The UK police are currently investigating the new Epstein-related claims revealed in these documents. Thames Valley Police, where the former prince lived for years at the Royal Lodge, are examining allegations that Andrew had sexual contact with another woman sent by Epstein in 2010.
Other investigations are examining Prince Andrew’s possible role in transporting women to the UK on Epstein’s flights or in sharing classified information with Epstein during his tenure as a special envoy for international trade.
