Pokret Kreni Promeni (KP) has reported a growing number of public sector employees coming forward with claims that they are being pressured to attend political rallies organized by the ruling Srpska napredna stranka (SNS) ahead of local elections on 29 March and the SNS event scheduled for 21 March at Belgrade Arena.

KP spokesperson Nikola Stanković stated on the social media platform X that, according to reports received, public sector structures, local officials, and organized logistics are being used to mobilize political support. He said this demonstrates a pattern in which state institutions are leveraged to maintain political dominance.

Stanković emphasized that employees in public institutions and state-owned enterprises, who depend on the government, are particularly vulnerable to such pressure.

Pokret Kreni-Promeni has urged citizens to report any instances of coercion anonymously via email at [email protected].
