Abdixhiku Meets French Ambassador, Presidential Issue at the Forefront

Kosovo Democratic League (LDK) leader Lumir Abdixhiku met today with the French Ambassador to Kosovo, Olivier Guerot.

The discussions focused on the current political developments in Kosovo and the party’s positions regarding them, with particular emphasis on the importance of maintaining institutional stability and the ongoing situation surrounding the presidency.

According to the statement, Abdixhiku stressed that in moments like these, adherence to the constitutional order and political prudence remain essential prerequisites for the democratic functioning of the country.

“I expressed my gratitude for France’s continuous support to Kosovo over the years, recognizing its important role in strengthening stability, democracy, and the European orientation of our country. I also emphasized the importance of deepening bilateral cooperation in areas of mutual interest, particularly in economy, development, and European integration,” Abdixhiku said in a Facebook post, as reported by Klankosova.tv.

“Kosovo remains committed to its Euro-Atlantic path, and partnerships with friendly states such as France are vital for this journey,” he added.
