The Kosovo Police has carried out a large-scale anti-drug operation codenamed “Delivery,” resulting in the arrest of five individuals suspected of involvement in criminal activities, including narcotics distribution and cybercrime in Prishtina.
According to official authorities, investigators from the Directorate for the Investigation of Drug Trafficking launched the operation following an intensive period of intelligence gathering and surveillance. Initially, two suspects were identified as key figures in the distribution of marijuana and cocaine across the capital.
On 25 March 2026, at approximately 14:00, the suspects were located near the highway exit in Veternik while traveling in a Volkswagen Golf 8. Upon noticing police presence, they attempted to flee at high speed, posing a significant risk to public safety.
Police units pursued the suspects through multiple locations, including Fushë Kosovë and Podujevë, before successfully intercepting them at the entrance to Vushtrri, where they were apprehended.
Authorities confirmed that the operation extended beyond the initial arrests, leading to the detention of additional suspects linked to the network, including individuals allegedly involved in cyber-related criminal activities connected to the case.
The operation reflects ongoing efforts by Kosovo Police to combat organized crime, particularly the intersection between drug trafficking and digital criminal networks, which authorities say is becoming an increasing concern in the region.
Further investigations are ongoing, and law enforcement officials have indicated that additional arrests or charges may follow as the case develops.
