Lulzim Berisha, leader of the Kosovo fan group “Dardanët,” has urged supporters to exercise caution in Bratislava just hours before Kosovo’s crucial World Cup 2026 playoff semifinal against Slovakia.
While noting that everything has gone smoothly so far, Berisha encouraged Kosovo fans in Bratislava to stay together during the match “in case something happens.”
“I believe everything will go well, and I trust in the safety of our fans. I call on everyone to gather so that nothing happens, because as we know, Slovakia does not recognize Kosovo, and we believe there may be people infiltrated here who might try to destabilize the atmosphere,” he said during the “tre8tre” broadcast.
Kosovo faces Slovakia tonight at 20:45 local time at the National Stadium in Bratislava. The team will be without captain Amir Rrahmani and midfield leader Leon Avdullahu.
