Protesters threw red paint in front of the entrance of the Assembly of Kosovo and spray-painted slogans reading “Out with the traitors” during a protest linked to controversy over an exhibition on wartime massacres.
The demonstration was organized by war veterans’ organizations and supported by activists, including Shkëlzen Gashi, a former adviser to Albin Kurti.
At one point, protesters attempted to force their way into the Assembly building, though they were prevented from doing so. Despite the tensions, the protest ultimately concluded without further escalation.
The demonstration was triggered by opposition to the exhibition addressing massacres in Kosovo, which has sparked public debate and political reactions in recent days.
