The supporters’ group “Dardanët” apologized for being unable to fulfill all ticket requests for Kosovo’s big match against Turkey.
Kosovo hosts Turkey tonight at “Fadil Vokrri” Stadium, and tickets sold out rapidly, even before it was confirmed that Kosovo had reached the World Cup playoff final.
“We deeply regret that we could not respond to all those interested in obtaining tickets for the big Kosovo–Turkey final. We sincerely apologize for not being able to meet all the countless requests, thousands of which exceeded every imaginable expectation. This apology is heartfelt because we feel sorry for each of you who wanted to be part of this major event for our country, but unfortunately, will not be able to attend,” the statement read.
“However, this is the maximum capacity of the sections we cover; we cannot expand it or achieve the impossible. We ask for your understanding and trust that, within our responsibilities, we have done and continue to do our utmost,” “Dardanët” added.
The group also urged fans to engage actively beyond merely arriving at the stadium.
“Today, the responsibility for the smooth running of the match must be felt by all of us, both in organizational terms and in giving unwavering support to our national team. We must motivate and push our footballers toward ultimate success. Each of us must give more than in previous matches,” they said.
“Everyone should feel involved and contribute with their own abilities to the organization. Everyone should enter the stadium stands with determination and boundless energy. Everyone should bear the shared responsibility to realize our dream. Everyone must be active, not passive. And above all, today everyone must wear the colors of Kosovo: scarves, jerseys, or national attire,” the statement concluded.
