Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has pledged to continue operations against Iran as the conflict approaches its sixth week.
Speaking at a military headquarters in Tel Aviv, Netanyahu emphasized that close coordination with the United States is crucial for this offensive:
“In full coordination between me and President Donald Trump, and between the IDF and the U.S. military, we will continue to pressure Iran,” he stated.
Netanyahu also claimed that Israel’s air force has destroyed 70% of Iran’s steel production capacity, depriving the Iranian military of funding sources and the ability to manufacture large quantities of weapons.
He clarified that operations are not limited to military infrastructure: “Together with our American friends, we continue to pressure the terrorist regime in Iran. We are eliminating commanders and bombing bridges and infrastructure.”
In addition to actions against Iran, Netanyahu said the Israeli army continues to strike Hezbollah and expand the security zone in southern Lebanon, where Israeli forces have initiated a ground incursion.
The Prime Minister highlighted that the Iranian regime is now weaker than ever, while Israel is stronger than ever: “This regime is weaker than ever – Israel is stronger than ever,” he added.
