World Health Organization representative in Kosovo, Isme Humolli, has issued a warning about a potential future pandemic, stating that global efforts are already underway to prepare for it.

Speaking in Pristina during activities marking World Health Day, Humolli emphasized that while it is unknown when the next pandemic may occur, the international community is actively developing coordinated strategies.

“The world is already preparing for the next pandemic. We don’t know when it will happen, but the goal is to build joint strategies that apply to all countries,” she stated.

The warning highlights the continued global focus on preparedness, cooperation, and strengthening health systems in the wake of recent global health crises.
