Acting President of Kosovo, Albulena Haxhiu, received the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Belgium, Maxime Prévot.
According to the press release, Haxhiu thanked Belgium for its continued and unwavering support for Kosovo over the years.
The meeting highlighted the excellent relations between Kosovo and Belgium, as well as the important contribution of the diaspora in Belgium in strengthening ties between the two countries.
“The interlocutors discussed opportunities for deepening bilateral cooperation, with particular emphasis on advancing economic cooperation and creating new opportunities for investment and partnership between the two states,” the statement said.
Haxhiu also stressed the importance of advancing Kosovo’s accession process to the European Union, as well as Kosovo’s commitment to membership in the Council of Europe and NATO.
