The Federal Bureau of Investigation (Federal Bureau of Investigation), in coordination with the DOJ/ICITAP program of the U.S. Embassy, successfully conducted two specialized training courses for the Kosovo Police.

The trainings — “Intelligence for Practitioners” and “Theory and Application of Intelligence for Law Enforcement Supervisors” — were designed to strengthen analytical and intelligence capacities within law enforcement.

The courses concluded with a formal graduation ceremony, during which 35 officers of the Kosovo Police received certificates, marking an important step in enhancing professional skills in intelligence and law enforcement analysis.

The training program was supported by the DOJ/ICITAP initiative of the U.S. Department of Justice (United States Department of Justice), which focuses on international law enforcement capacity building.

The ceremony was attended by senior officials, including the Director of the Intelligence and Analysis Department, Gëzim Dibrani, DOJ-ICITAP Attaché Kimberly Riffe, FBI instructors, and other representatives from the Kosovo Police and international partners.

The curriculum covered modern intelligence methodologies, analytical techniques, information processing, and strategic analysis, combining both theoretical and practical components.

Through direct engagement with FBI experts, participants strengthened operational competencies and improved professional standards in intelligence work and policing practices.

The program was widely praised for its practical relevance and modern training approach, serving as an important platform for knowledge exchange and institutional development.

The Kosovo Police expressed gratitude to DOJ/ICITAP and FBI Law Enforcement Attaché Brendan Collins for their continued support in professional development and capacity building.
