The Basic Court in Prishtina has scheduled the initial hearing for Bojan Jevtić, a Lieutenant in the Kosovo Police, who faces serious charges of espionage and unauthorized weapon possession.
The hearing is set for May 19, 2026, at 1:15 PM, presided over by Judge Kushtrim Shyti. The news was confirmed by the court’s spokesperson, Mirlinda Gashi.
The Accusations: Data Leaks and Remote Access
According to the indictment filed by the Special Prosecution of the Republic of Kosovo (PSRK) on May 8, 2026, Lieutenant Bojan Jevtić is accused of systematically collecting and delivering classified official documents to the Serbian Intelligence Service (BIA).
The prosecution’s file reveals several alarming details regarding the alleged breach of national security:
- Period of Activity: The alleged espionage occurred over an unspecified period leading up to his arrest on July 17, 2025.
- The “TeamViewer” Breach: While serving as the Head of Operations at the Dheu i Bardhë border crossing with Serbia, Jevtić allegedly granted remote access to his official police computer to a BIA agent known as Saša Ćirić (alias “Ćira”).
- Remote Monitoring: Using the software TeamViewer, the Serbian agent was reportedly able to remotely monitor the situation at the border point and access sensitive operational plans of the Kosovo Police.
- Compromised Safety: Prosecutors state that these actions directly endangered the constitutional order, national security, and the lives of state officials and citizens.
Additional Charges: Illegal Weapons
During a raid on Jevtić’s father’s house in the village of Berivojcë, authorities discovered and seized an unauthorized Zastava 7.65mm pistol, along with 60 rounds of 7.65mm ammunition and 30 rounds of 9x19mm ammunition.
