Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti has reiterated three conditions for holding a meeting with Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić in Brussels, responding to statements by EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas that a high-level meeting had been agreed.
Without confirming whether he has agreed to the meeting, Kurti listed his conditions, which include the extradition of Milan Radoičić, the withdrawal of Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabić’s letter, and the signing of the Brussels–Ohrid Agreement.
“Radoičić must be handed over to the authorities of Kosovo. There is a 160-page indictment together with 44 paramilitary terrorists who killed Afrim Bunjaku. Radoičić is not only free, but also active in politics. He is part of a project to undermine the democratic opposition and continues to threaten it,” Kurti said.
He also demanded the withdrawal of the letter submitted by Brnabić to the EU’s 27 member states, in which Serbia allegedly does not recognize Kosovo’s territorial integrity.
Kurti further insisted that the agreement must be formally signed, arguing that signatures from leaders demonstrate credibility and mutual trust between the parties.
“These three measures of goodwill for continuing the dialogue remain valid,” he added.
