The President of the Serbian National Forum in Gračanica and a member of the Presidency of the Serbian National Council of Kosovo, Momčilo Trajković, has accused Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić of leading Kosovo Serbs into a severe political and social crisis through his policies.

In an interview with the newspaper Danas, Trajković stated that the symbolic political initiatives of the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) in Belgrade do not offer genuine solutions to the Kosovo issue but instead represent a continuation of what he described as “political simulation” surrounding the matter.

He stressed that Kosovo Serbs are in a difficult position and claimed they have been left without meaningful political support, accusing the leadership in Belgrade of mismanaging the situation.

Trajković added that overcoming the crisis requires political change in Serbia and the adoption of a new approach that would enable political pluralism among Kosovo Serbs.

He also commented on the United States’ decision to extend the national emergency related to the Western Balkans, emphasizing that the region remains important for international security.
