Kosovo will officially begin the registration process for newly elected members of parliament on Monday, marking the final administrative step before the country’s new legislature is formally constituted.
The registration process will take place over three days, during which all 120 elected MPs will complete the administrative procedures required to officially assume their parliamentary mandates.
The process precedes the constitutive session of the Assembly of Kosovo, scheduled for August 6, where lawmakers will take the oath of office before proceeding with the election of the parliamentary speaker, deputy speakers, and other governing bodies of the legislature.
The registration of MPs represents the final administrative phase before the new parliamentary term officially begins, paving the way for the Assembly to commence its legislative work.
The constitutive session is expected to mark the beginning of efforts to establish the new parliamentary leadership and advance the process of forming Kosovo’s next institutions following the elections.
