The Gallery of Arts in Prishtina, in cooperation with the civic platform “Liria Ka Emër” (“Freedom Has a Name”), will open the exhibition “A War Photographer’s Diary” by photographer Visar Kryeziu on September 8, 2026.
Through photography, the exhibition brings back memories, testimonies, and moments from the Kosovo War, drawing renewed attention to the sacrifices made and the path toward freedom.
The exhibition is dedicated to honoring the just and righteous war of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA), serving as a testimony to our history and as a message of support for former KLA leaders Hashim Thaçi, Kadri Veseli, Jakup Krasniqi, and Rexhep Selimi, who are currently in The Hague.
The exhibition will open on September 8 at 7:00 p.m. at the Palace of Youth and Sports in Prishtina.
The exhibition is part of a series of activities taking place ahead of the March for Freedom, which will be held on September 12 in Prishtina in support of the former KLA leaders and the KLA’s liberation struggle.
