“Latest developments in Parliament”: Prattipati meets LDK leader Abdixhiku

The leader of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), Lumir Abdixhiku, met today with Anu Prattipati, Chargé d’Affaires at the U.S. Embassy in Kosovo.

According to an LDK statement, the two discussed current political developments in Kosovo, with particular focus on the latest developments in the Assembly and the ongoing process of constituting the country’s institutions.

“Chairman Abdixhiku briefed Ms. Prattipati on the LDK’s position regarding the current political situation, reaffirming the party’s commitment to protecting the interests of the Republic of Kosovo, ensuring the functionality of institutions and maintaining institutional stability,” the statement said.

The meeting also addressed the importance of overcoming the current political impasse and creating the conditions necessary for the stable and democratic functioning of Kosovo’s institutions, in the service of its citizens.

Abdixhiku expressed his gratitude for the continued and indispensable support of the United States for the Republic of Kosovo, praising the strategic partnership between the two countries and stressing the importance of preserving and further strengthening that partnership.
