“There are no new peace proposals from Russia.” This is what Ukrainian presidential advisor Mikhaylo Podolyak declared, commenting on the conditions proposed by Vladimir Putin for negotiating an end to the war.

“Of course, there is nothing new, no genuine peace proposal, and no desire to end the war. But there is a desire not to pay for this war and to continue it in new forms. It’s all a farce. So once again, get rid of illusions and stop taking Russia’s ‘proposals’ that insult common sense seriously,” he stated.

According to him, Russia aims to escape failure at Ukraine’s expense by seizing territories.

“The Putin entity expressed only the ‘aggressor’s standard,’ which has already been heard many times. Its content is quite specific, very offensive to international law, and speaks absolutely eloquently about the current Russian leadership’s inability to adequately assess reality. Point by point, the ‘proposal of the RF (Russian Federation)’ is presented as follows: 1) Give us your territories 2) Renounce your sovereignty and subjectivity. Urgently resolve Russia’s ‘non-failure’ at the expense of Ukraine,” the Ukrainian advisor said.
