The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, at the invitation of the President of the Swiss Confederation, Viola Amherd, has traveled to Switzerland, where she will represent the Republic of Kosovo at the high-level Peace Summit for Ukraine.
The presidency announced that at the Summit, which will be held on June 15 and 16, 2024, in Bürgenstock, near Lucerne, President Osmani will be alongside the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the President of Switzerland, Viola Amherd, and about 100 other leaders and representatives from around the world.
The high-level summit, which will bring together world leaders to discuss the importance and ways of continuing support for Ukraine, will also focus on the critical importance of achieving peace in Ukraine.
President Osmani will reaffirm the Republic of Kosovo’s commitment to continue supporting Ukraine until victory and will speak about the importance of comprehensive global support to achieve long-term and sustainable peace.
During her stay in Switzerland, President Osmani will also hold bilateral meetings with other world leaders, according to the announcement.
