Encrypted communications on the Sky ECC platform, published by Serbian magazine Radar, mention Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić, members of his family, intelligence officials, and individuals allegedly linked to criminal groups involved in drug trafficking.
According to Radar’s investigative reporting, messages exchanged between members of Darko Šarić’s criminal group and the rival Škaljari clan refer to Vučić by the nicknames “Oskar” and “Čvarak.”
The communications also mention his brother, Andrej Vučić; his son, Danilo Vučić; former Serbian Interior Minister Aleksandar Vulin; and officials from Serbia’s Security Intelligence Agency (BIA).
Danilo Vučić in Communications With Šarić Associates
According to Radar, Danilo Vučić had met Aleksandar Bošković, known by the nickname “Vojvoda,” who is described as an associate of Darko Šarić. Bošković was also involved in legal proceedings concerning alleged efforts to discredit cooperating witness Nebojša Joksović.
The magazine reported that the Sky ECC communications included a photograph of Danilo Vučić with Bošković, which the latter allegedly sent to Šarić on July 9, 2020.
In a message dated January 26, 2020, Duško Šarić wrote to his brother Darko about a person he described as the son of “Oskar.” According to the message, the individual had conveyed his father’s gratitude following contacts with Bošković.
“Last night, that young man called me, the one I told you had been sent by Oskar. He said his father sends his thanks. Vojvoda (Aleksandar Bošković) is expecting his wife to give birth, which is why he invited him to that celebration. The young man is enthusiastic about those Chetnik and Serbian things, especially when he sees all those Red Star fan leaders there. Last night, he wrote that Oskar was thanking you; the young man had told him what had happened and how. He messaged me late last night. I put him in touch with Vojvoda, so he will visit him in Valjevo.”

In another communication dated May 25, 2020, Duško Šarić referred to a possible meeting with “Oskar’s son” to hand over 2,000 votes he claimed to have collected.
“No, he will come later from Valjevo, then he wants to meet Oskar’s son to give him those votes I have collected.”
Andrej Vučić Mentioned in Discussions About Meetings and Votes
The published messages also refer to Andrej Vučić, the Serbian president’s brother.
On February 27, 2020, Duško Šarić reportedly told his brother that “Oskar’s brother” wanted to meet Aleksandar Bošković.
In another message, dated May 20 of the same year, Duško Šarić wrote that he hoped to meet “Oskar’s brother,” who allegedly wanted to obtain 2,000 votes.
According to Radar, these communications raise questions about possible contacts between individuals linked to organized crime and people close to Serbia’s political leadership, including discussions involving political and electoral matters.
Vučić Identified as “Oskar” in Šarić’s Messages
Another part of the investigation focuses on communications involving Darko Šarić, who has been convicted in connection with international cocaine trafficking, and his associates.
On June 3, 2020, Šarić reportedly wrote to Željko Vujanović that “Oskar” had made it clear that he was the one making decisions. In the same communication, Šarić identified “Oskar” as Vučić.
This identification was reinforced by a message dated July 31, 2020, in which Vujanović reportedly responded that “Oskar” was Vučić. On November 20 of the same year, Darko Šarić wrote to his brother: “Čvarak is Oskar.”
According to Radar, the messages also relate to alleged negotiations over the terms of Šarić’s surrender, financing for the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS), and a possible promise of a pardon in the event of an unfavorable court ruling.
However, the report emphasizes that the communications alone do not establish that such an agreement was ultimately reached or carried out.
Alleged €100,000 Transfer and BIA Officials
The investigation also includes messages mentioning BIA officials and allegations involving money transfers and the exchange of information.
On May 10, 2020, Duško Šarić reportedly told his brother that a person from the BIA had requested the transfer of €100,000 through Aleksandar Bošković.
Ten days later, he allegedly claimed that the money had been transferred to a person known as “Markus,” whom Radar identifies as Marko Parezanović, a senior BIA official at the time.
The report also mentions other police and intelligence officials, alongside allegations that information from state institutions was passed on to Šarić’s associates.
Alleged Contacts With the Škaljari Clan and Implications for Kosovo
Beyond Šarić’s group, the investigation examines communications involving members of the Škaljari clan, in which Vučić, former Interior Minister Aleksandar Vulin, and Serbian security officials are also mentioned.
A central figure in these messages is Radomir Bačović, whom Radar describes as a high-ranking member of the Škaljari clan.
In February 2021, Bačović reportedly wrote to his associate Alen Kurina that he had received a direct offer from Vučić and that Vulin was involved in arranging contacts.
The published messages also mention Bojan Dimić, a senior BIA official. According to Radar, Dimić played a role in arranging contacts with Bačović and maintained close relations with Milan Radoičić and Zvonko Veselinović, two figures frequently discussed in connection with networks of influence in northern Kosovo.
In one of the messages, Bačović allegedly claimed that Vučić had directly offered to support his return to Serbia. He also referred to the possibility of securing a legitimate business and removing restrictions that prevented him from entering the country.
The revelations reported by Radar raise questions about alleged links between political figures, security officials, and individuals associated with organized crime. However, the messages and allegations described in the investigation should be distinguished from independently established facts, and they do not, by themselves, prove criminal wrongdoing by every individual mentioned.
