Yair Golan, leader of the Democrats party, has called on parties in the bloc led by Gadi Eisenkot of the Yashar party to cooperate with Arab parties to form a government, arguing that such an alliance would secure a parliamentary majority.

“Netanyahu has lost. I know how to count to 120. Sixty-five is more than 55. That is how Israeli democracy works. Period,” Golan wrote on X.

“Reality must teach us a powerful lesson: We have no future here unless we stop being afraid and put an end to racism. We must no longer accept Netanyahu’s racist division between Jewish votes and Arab votes,” he said.
