A new protest will be held in Prishtina on Thursday, with demonstrators demanding justice for Arlinda Zekaj and all women who have been murdered. The protest is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. in Zahir Pajaziti Square, the Feminist Thought and Action Collective announced.

In a public appeal, the collective said demonstrations would continue until its demands were met, warning that protesters would take to the streets and block institutions to demand accountability from the state.

“We will gather again to demand the justice Arlinda entrusted us to seek, and justice for all murdered women,” the organizers said.

The collective called on citizens to join the demonstration and demand that state institutions take responsibility for ensuring women’s safety.

“Tomorrow, we will take to the streets again and block institutions because this is the last moment for the state to be held accountable,” the statement said.

The organizers urged people to leave work, their homes and classrooms to participate in the protest, pledging to continue mobilizing until their demands are fulfilled.

The collective also called for nationwide organization and solidarity, emphasizing that its goals include safety and freedom for women who are alive, as well as justice for those who have been killed.

The planned demonstration follows earlier protests over Zekaj’s killing and broader concerns about institutional accountability and the protection of women in Kosovo.
